Shaun Redwell

Shaun Redwell is a Chicago-based host, community leader, creative and co-founder of The Red Well Foundation. Born and raised on Chicago's South Side in the Roseland community, Redwell attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he studied communications with a focus in radio and television. After college, he worked for iHeartMedia while developing his career as a host and emcee. He currently serves as an in-arena host for the WNBA's Chicago Sky and has hosted events and activations across professional basketball, including the 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. Through The Red Well Foundation, Redwell uses creativity, mentorship, arts programming and community outreach to create opportunities for young people and strengthen Chicago communities. His work reflects a commitment to service, leadership and using sports and entertainment as platforms for positive community impact.
