Rich Klawiter

Rich spent 30 years as a partner in the real estate group at DLA Piper, which he helped lead. He was the chair of the pro bono committee and helped lead the Chicago office’s community engagement and outreach. A native of the Hyde Park neighborhood, Rich has deep roots on the South Side and since retiring from DLA Piper earlier this year was a fellow at the University of Chicago’s Leadership and Society Initiative. He has two grown children and lives in the West Loop with his wife Aimee Daniels.
