Meredith Stricker

Meredith Stricker is the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives.

In this role, Meredith leads the firm’s integrated growth strategy, bringing together business development, marketing, strategic positioning, thought leadership, events and internal communications to strengthen C Street’s brand, deepen client relationships and drive long-term growth. By aligning these functions under a unified strategy, she helps create greater collaboration across the firm while supporting C Street’s continued growth as a leading strategic advisory firm.

Meredith has spent her career leading complex strategic initiatives and helping institutions grow and evolve.

Prior to joining C Street, Meredith served as Executive Director of the University of Chicago’s Policing Leadership Academy, where she led a $30 million international initiative focused on advancing leadership across the policing profession. Previously, she served as Chief of Staff for the University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab, helping lead strategy and operations for two nationally recognized research organizations.

Earlier in her career, Meredith was the founding Executive Director of The Soufan Center, a global security and public policy think tank, and spent more than fifteen years in the human rights and international development sectors, including as Program Director of the Peace and Security Funders Group in Washington, D.C., and Executive Director of the Zameer Foundation in India. Throughout her career, she has advised governments and senior policymakers around the world, including heads of state, ambassadors and cabinet ministers, on issues of security, governance and organizational leadership.

Meredith earned her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, where she received the Dr. Susan Aurelia Gitelson Award for Human Values in International Affairs. She is a Senior Fellow at The Soufan Center, a Nonresident Fellow at New America, a member of the University of Chicago Policing Leadership Academy Advisory Committee, and a member of Crain’s Advisory Forum.
