Founder, What’s Your Forté Foundation and Former NFL Running Back

Matt Forté is a former NFL running back, two-time Pro Bowler, philanthropist, author, and founder of the What’s Your Forté Foundation. Drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft, Forté played 10 NFL seasons with the Bears and New York Jets, finishing his career with 14,468 total yards and 75 touchdowns. Following his retirement, Forté has continued his commitment to Chicago through the What’s Your Forté Foundation, which invests in the equitable economic advancement of youth and families, with programming that includes violence prevention, career development, wellness and wealth building. He also mentors professional athletes through Pro Athletes Outreach and is an author. Forté is a graduate of Tulane University and resides in Chicago.
