Chris Draft

Chris Draft is the Founder, President and CEO of the Chris Draft Family Foundation (CDFF), whose mission is to empower families to lead healthy lifestyles. He is also Co-Founder of Team Draft, a national campaign working to change the face of lung cancer. An internationally recognized speaker, community leader, family and character advocate, Draft serves as an NFL Ambassador and national spokesperson on health-related issues, including asthma and lung cancer.

A graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Economics, Draft played football and baseball for the Cardinal before beginning a 12-year NFL career. He played for the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins.

Draft co-founded Team Draft with his wife, Keasha, following her Stage IV lung cancer diagnosis. After Keasha's death in 2011 at age 38, he expanded their mission into a national campaign focused on lung cancer awareness, early detection, treatment, research and survivorship. He has visited more than 130 cancer centers and built relationships with survivors, caregivers, physicians and researchers across the country. Draft continues to use his national platform to advocate for healthier families, cancer survivors and stronger communities.
