Angelina Rosado

Founder & Executive Director, Returning Hope, Inc., Co-Founder, Sisters In Purple

Angelina Rosado is a domestic violence survivor, advocate, activist, educator, and public speaker who has transformed her lived experience into a commitment to helping others heal and thrive. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Returning Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence and educating the next generation, and a co-founder of Sisters In Purple, a survivor-led organization addressing domestic violence, community violence, gun violence, and injustice. Through her advocacy, Rosado connects survivors with critical resources and support, educates young people about healthy relationships and teen dating violence, and works to elevate survivor voices in conversations surrounding violence prevention and community safety. Her advocacy has included service on the NYPD Domestic and Gender-Based Violence Training Committee, and she was recognized with the 2021 Advocate of the Year Award from the New York City Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence.
