Rubye Lane is an Emmy Award Winning Television Producer with over a decade of experience producing a variety of scripted and unscripted content for several broadcast, syndicated and digital platforms.

A product of the South Side of Chicago, this content creator has worked for Disney, NBC Universal, Fox, Telepictures, Sony Pictures and production companies: One Story Up and Bunim-Murray. Her work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Fox and the former WB.

In June 2022, her work on the documentary " Rise and Rebuild: A Tale of Three Cities" will make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Rubye has executive produced a number of live events and taped segments with many politicians, hip hop artists, actors, directors and athletes. She has also secured interviews with Governor JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the late great Associate Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.

In 2004, she earned her first Emmy for her work on the NBC Universal series “Starting Over”. Throughout her career, she has produced segments featuring Elton John, Common, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Gloria & Emilio Estefan.

In her spare time, Rubye enjoys creating graphics and editing but her passion is telling the stories of individuals who have been marginalized and silenced.
